很少能够看见身影，栖息在网络之海的妖精型数码兽。虽然名字中含有天使兽，但就生态系统而言却跟天使兽系是完全不同的其它种族。海天使兽脖子上戴的环被称为神圣环，迪路兽和天女兽等身上也有，因为这点被认为跟神圣系数码兽有着某种关系。上面镌刻的文字至今仍未被弄清。基本上不喜欢战斗，但必杀技「大海之爱」会让所有敌人丧失战斗意识，从结果上看获得了胜利。
棲息在網路之海，十分罕見的妖精型數碼寶貝。雖然名字裡有「天使獸」，但是以生態系統來說，海天使獸與天使獸系數碼寶貝分別為不同的種族。海天使獸脖子上的環被稱為「神聖之環」，由於迪路獸與天女獸身上也有，因此普遍認為那種環應該與神聖數碼寶貝有某種關聯。環上刻的文字到目前仍是一團謎。海天使獸基本上不喜歡戰鬥，但必殺技「海洋之愛」能夠消去所有敵人的戰意，到頭來還是會獲得勝利。
滅多に、その姿を見ることのできないネットの海に棲む妖精型デジモン。エンジェモンの名前を持っているが、生態系としては全くエンジェモン系とは別の種族である。マリンエンジェモンの首についているリングはホーリーリングと呼ばれ、テイルモンやエンジェウーモンなども付けている所から聖なるデジモンと何か関係があると思われる。そこに刻まれている文字は今だ解明されていない。基本的に戦闘は好まないが、必殺技である『オーシャンラブ』はあらゆる敵の戦意を喪失させ、結果的に勝利をおさめることになる。
A rarely-seen Pixie Digimon residing in the Net Ocean. Although it carries the moniker of Angemon, it is actually a completely different type from other Angemon in terms of its ecosystem. The ring around its neck is called a Holy Ring, and there is thought to be some connection with holy Digimon such as Gatomon or Angewomon who also wear such rings. The characters on this ring are written in a heretofore unknown script. Although MarineAngemon generally avoids fighting, its special move Ocean Love makes any enemy lose the will to fight, thereby resulting in its victory.
좀처럼 모습을 보기 힘든 네트워크 바다에 사는 요정형 디지몬. 이름은 엔젤몬이지만 생태계 내 엔젤몬 계열과는 전혀 다른 종족이다. 마린엔젤몬의 목에 있는 고리는 성스러운 고리라고 불리며, 가트몬이나 엔젤우몬 등도 지니고 있는 걸 보아 성스러운 디지몬과 무언가 관련이 있는 것으로 보인다. 여기에 새겨진 글자는 아직까지도 해석되지 않았다. 기본적으로 전투는 좋아하지 않지만, 필살기인 『오션 러브』는 모든 적의 전의를 상실하게 하며 결과적으로 승리를 거두게 된다.
Dieses Feen-Digimon lebt im Netzozean und wird nur sehr selten gesichtet. Obwohl es als Angemon bezeichnet wird, unterscheidet es sich deutlich von anderen Angemon. Der Ring um seinen Hals ist heilig und man vermutet eine Verbindung zu heiligen Digimon wie Gatomon oder Angewomon, die ebenfalls Ringe tragen. Die Inschrift des Rings gibt noch immer Rätsel auf. Obwohl dieses Digimon ungern kämpft, verfügt es über einen Spezialmove namens „Liebesattacke“.

原型
海天使兽的名字和外形设计来源于俗称海天使（Sea Angel）的裸海蝶（Clione limacina），它们生活在北冰洋及南冰洋水深350米处，最初被描述为翼足目的一种，为雌雄同体。
